Dave and Elsie Wiebe, and their two youngest kids, joined Crossfield Baptist Church in ‘2008. (We have six kids -- four daughters, a son, and a daughter-in-law). They were pastor and wife in two churches in B.C. prior to coming here.

What do you love about Crossfield Baptist Church? - I love our potential. We have a very devoted core of generous, serving, and gifted people who love God. With a new building and God’s blessing we can bring God’s love and truth to many.

What part of being a pastor do you like most? - If I could do only one thing (and I know I can’t) I would preach and teach God’s Word. God’s Word is not irrelevant or boring and I am driven to make sure no one finds it so. His truth is GREAT and transforms our lives. I love to hear God talk… and he does.

What are your hopes for CBC? - We are relatively small now (about 170) but I picture our building filling up with families whose lives are being transformed by God. I imagine a group of people who love God and love to be together, who are known for their accepting attitude, service, and help to others. I imagine a place where Jesus is real, enjoyed, and followed and that for many it all began when God used us in their lives.
